Golf Resolutions

Jan 02, 2018

The start of the New year is the perfect time to start fresh, dust off the golf clubs, and put some plans in place for a fantastic year of quality golfing! We have come up with some top ideas for your New Years resolutions, to ensure you have a better year on the golf course!

Become an Extra Card holder

If you need a little more encouragement to get you to the range for some quality practice, become an Extra Card holder for only £10! We offer free credit to those that use the range on a regular basis, discount on range balls, exclusive access to the short game facility, access to junior coaching weekends, and many more perks!

Plan a trip

Have a golf trip planned to keep you focused – nobody wants to be the worst one in the group when you’re playing in the sun somewhere exotic! The perfect motivation to put in the work during the colder months!

Take some lessons to improve on your weak spots

Even the most experienced golfers should have some lessons from time to time to correct some bad habits, make improvements, and learn new drills!

Don’t dwell on mistakes

Focusing too much on how badly you’re playing or what you’ve done wrong is only going to lead to more mistakes! Golf is often a mental game more than anything… so shake it off after a mistake, act confident, and try again!

Get stronger

2018 can be the year you finally get stronger in the gym! Not only will it help with your power output on shots, make you less prone to injury, but it will probably give the body you desire too! Win win!

Practice, practice, practice

An obvious one… but how many of us are guilty of skipping those sessions at the range? Or waiting until summer before we even touch a golf club again? Practice really does make perfect, so schedule and plan how many times you are going to be practicing throughout the week, to keep you on track and motivated!
