The Philosophy at One Stop Golf Academy

One of the objectives of opening a golf academy in Hull is to introduce the game of golf to anyone and everyone in the local community, by providing structured golf lessons that will suit the needs of all.

Located near the centre of Hull, with easy access to the road and motor way
network, One Stop Golf Academy provides a relaxed setting in which to learn and practice the game of golf.

Richard Pace Graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University (2002 – 2005) with a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Science, where he was co-captain and Chairman of the Leeds Metropolitan University Golf Team.

Richard helped the team to the 2nd Division University League title in 2003/04
Richard reached Scratch as an Amateur and represented the East Riding Union Squad before turning Professional in 2006 He completed the PGA Qualification (2006 – 2009) under the guidance of Stretton Wright at Hornsea Golf Club where he was a member since the age of 13 and was Junior Captain in 2001

Professional wins – Cleethorpes Pro-Am 2009 (67) & regular competitor on the Yorkshire PGA consistently finishing in the Top 10 of events

Richard uses his knowledge of Sports Science and the way the body and mind work to help players understand what the body must do to hit the golf ball consistently and successfully

Swing Philosophy – 

- During lessons, we analyse your swing, flexibility and experience as well as your personal goals and objectives.

- No two golfers are alike in size, shape, experience, etc. So we customize a learning plan exclusively for you.

- Lessons are ideal for individuals and small groups of any standard, beginners are especially welcome.
